2010 Industry Hiring Trends Forecast cover small

The 2010 job outlook for real estate professionals – particularly in the commercial sector – is cautiously optimistic, says FPL Advisory Group's annual Industry Hiring Trends Forecast.   The 2010 survey report is based on the responses of CEOs and other senior-level executives from companies active primarily in commercial property investment and commercial mortgage lending, along with a sampling of respondents from investment banks, REIT securities, law firms, corporate real estate groups, and pension funds.

Q110 REALpac / FPL Canadian Real Estate Sentiment Survey

The Real Property Association of Canada (REALpac) and FPL Advisory Group are pleased to release the results from their Q110 REALpac / FPL Canadian Real Estate Sentiment Survey. 

The Q1 2010 edition of the REALpac/FPL Canadian Real Estate Sentiment Index came in at 76 on an overall basis, up from 68 last quarter.  Overall, expectations for the coming year are modest, but up. Respondents are “cautiously optimistic,” with 87% of respondents are now expecting conditions to improve in the next year, compared to 63% in last quarter’s survey.

Q110 Real Estate Rountable Sentiment Survey Results

On behalf of The Real Estate Roundtable, FPL Advisory Group is pleased to announce the results from the Q110 Real Estate Roundtable Sentiment Survey. 

The Q110 Sentiment Index (now at 73, up from 63 in the previous quarter) shows an industry just beginning the process of pulling itself out from the depths of the deepest real estate downturn seen in a generation.  The Index indicates that confidence in market conditions may be on the mend, yet industry leaders remain guarded in their improved outlook.
